Richard Buxton

Managing Director of Group

Founder of the Group, Richard’s unique talent for design & his commitment to delivering a quality product on time and within budget was one of the major reasons for Buxton’s rise to prominence as a leader in the building industry and property development. Richard was educated in Construction Science and Architecture at Melbourne University and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Builders.

Richard has a strong financial background and a keen eye for selecting the right project in the position to suit the current economic and future cycles.

Walter McIvor

Group General Manager

As Group General Manager, Walter’s primary role is in identification and acquisition of property development opportunities, general coordination between the various divisions and group strategic planning.

With in excess of 25 years in the property arena, Walter has a diversity of experiences in the residential, retirement, commercial, industrial and retail sectors on a national level.

A strong communicator, Walter is adept at the establishment of effective teams on both large and small scale projects and in the overall management of viable development projects.

Andrew Briggs

Managing Director of Construction

A member of Buxton Group’s Senior Management team since 1994, Andrew has played a major
role in the company’s growth. A hands-on managing director with extensive practical experience in all
facets of the construction industry spanning 30 years with a thorough understanding of modern day management principles.

Andrew is committed to meeting the client’s expectations, his enthusiasm, co-ordination, design ability and eye for detail are only some of his greatest assets.

Samantha Buxton

Director

Qualifications in Science from Melbourne University, a Licensed Estate Agent and REIV Member, Sam has a diverse background in Property.

Since joining the Buxton Group Samantha has managed the marketing and sales program of many of the Buxton Group’s projects and currently combines her talents in a dual role as Marketing Manager for Buxton Property & Director of the Buxton Group.
