Lunar Eclipse sales rocket

Buyers are snapping up the Buxton Group's new St Kilda development with 65 per cent of apartments in the Luna complex selling within the first eight weeks of sales.

Taking its name from the Latin name for the moon, Luna features a 'living facade', with translucent shutters which will constantly change the building's appearance depending on the time of day and light. It has been designed by architects Elenberg Fraser.

The development offers a total of 620 square meters of retail/restaurants/cafe space as well as 72 residential apartments, with only six still available for purchase.

Situated on the corner of Barkly and Belford Streets, the Luna development is set to be completed by July 2012 with construction now underway.
